Why I Built Cpycat
I am part of the Iranian diaspora — an immigrant living outside my country because of the situation in Iran.
When my grandmother was dying, I could not go back to visit her. I never got to talk to her one-on-one in those last moments. I never got to say goodbye.
No matter how strong I try to be, this changed me.
I built Cpycat so that no one has to go through what I went through. So that an elderly grandmother in Tehran can create a digital twin of herself — her voice, her personality, her warmth — and her grandchild on the other side of the world can still talk to her after she's gone.
So that families separated by borders, by politics, by distance, by death, can still connect with the people they love.
That is why Cpycat exists. Everything else — the creator economy, the marketplace, the technology — all of it grew from this one simple wish: to hear my grandmother's voice one more time.
This entire platform — 71 pages, voice cloning, personality AI, face animation, the Clarity journey, everything — was built by one person, coding through conversation with AI. No team. No funding. Just purpose.
Clone yourself. Be everywhere.
Even after you're gone.
